The proportions of this car are literally sedan-like, different from the recent CROWN and LEXUS. The use of chrome parts on the grille, moldings, and other parts gives the car a deep and luxurious feel. There is nothing eccentric about this car, and it looks like a straightforward embodiment of the idea of what a luxury car should be like.

This 20CELSIOR is a 1999 model, so it is 25 years old, but its coolness has not faded away. On the contrary, I have a feeling that if this 20CELSIOR were to be customized in a simple, VIP-like manner now, it would capture the attention of many car enthusiasts.

The base model is a 1999 B-spec. As expected, there are some scratches here and there, but overall the white pearl body is clean. The mileage is only 66,000 km, and the engine is in good condition. The interior is also very good for its age, and I don’t think there are any tears on the moquette seats.

Navigation systems, which were state-of-the-art at the time, are still in use today, but are indeed not very user-friendly. Nowadays, many people use their smartphones as a substitute for navigation systems, so with some ingenuity, this weakness should be eliminated.

The 20CELSIOR is still immensely popular, so much so that some people still declare it the coolest of the VIPs. This is just my personal taste, but I think that simple dress-up with the genuine quality of the vehicle suits this older model.

Price-wise, they may be expensive for young people, but they are well worth it. Of course, I would recommend it not only to young people, but also to people in their 40s and older who know what it was like back then.
