Report on “VIPSTYLE MEETING 2024 East Japan Round”, an absolute must-see!

VIPSTYLE MEETING 2024 East Japan Round, organized by VIPSTYLE, Japan’s only magazine dedicated to VIP sedans, was held on Sunday, June 9, at Longwood Station in Chiba Prefecture.

Sedans from all over Japan. There were approximately 150 vehicles entered and 150 vehicles observed. In total, more than 300 sedans gathered at the event. The sight of the low-slung sedans lined up in a row was spectacular and an unforgettable experience for VIP and sedan enthusiasts.

As I walked around the venue, my frank impression was that the level of each vehicle was higher than I had imagined. VIPSTYLE MEETING welcomes novice owners. This is also the reason why many cars are entered before they have been customized yet.

However, most of the vehicles at this year’s event were dressed up with aero systems and wheels. Not only the exterior, but also the interior, trunk audio system, and engine tuning were done on some of the cars, which was very impressive to see.

Incidentally, for some reason, the probability of rain is very high at events hosted by VIPSTYLE, and although all the participants did not say so, they must have been anxious inside. As it turned out, it was lightly overcast all day, although it did seem to sprinkle for a moment. There was no fear of heat stroke, and it was a relief that it turned out to be a perfect day for the event.

The VIPSTYLE MEETING is an event that sedan fans should not miss, and of course, ALESS was there to exhibit its products. Original dampers, color nuts, stickers, and apparel were sold at the booth.

In front of the booth, a current CENTURY model with over fenders, which has become a major topic of discussion in the industry, is on display. The over fender is a royal design, yet highly sophisticated, making use of the stock arch moldings. Many owners crouched down to take a closer look at such fenders.

The East Japan Round was a great success. Next, the Western Japan Round will be held on Sunday, July 28 at Okayama International Circuit. This Eastern Japan round saw many cars with simple and smart specifications, but we are looking forward to seeing what kind of specifications the next Western Japan round will bring together.
